Dolce & Gabbana Smooth Eye Colour Quad in Tangier: Giving Thanks for an Epic Summer Glow

CORN! Mmm, corn.
I'chiliad trying to get a grip on myself, but my body is acting of its own accord (*tummy rumbles*). Every time I open the new Dolce & Gabbana Smooth Centre Color Quad in Tangier, I immediately think "Happy Thanksgiving!"
Information technology's not my fault. Information technology's the orangish, man. Seeing information technology at that place next to that brown and gold, and I momentarily forget that information technology'due south non fall. I feel like busting out my boots with the fur (with the fur) and jumping into a pile of autumn leaves.
Funny affair is, it's not a autumn quad. Tangier is one of two limited edition quads in the new Dolce & Gabbana Summer Glow collection, available at present at counters and online.
With its rich amber and gold, it's perfect for sexy screen siren looks, whether at present in the summer, or later in the fall.
Sixty bones is a lot for an eyeshadow quad, just at least this one is remarkably easy to apply. I've been wearing information technology for the past few days, and I'm surprised. I can't believe how piece of cake it's been to incorporate into casual and dressy looks — fifty-fifty that cray-cray matte orangish.
For these starting time pics I tried to retrieve exterior the box, and so I'm wearing it in the crease with a hazy orangish smokey middle.
Only semi-cray. 😉
But I've also used the quad in more causal means. Like, the other twenty-four hour period I buffed the low-cal peach, which has simply the perfect corporeality of sheen and so it isn't too shimmery, from my lash line up to my forehead bone, composite the matte chocolate-brown into the crease, and and then lightly dusted the shimmery gilded in the inner corners, before finishing with a bit of black liner and mascara.
I also used the quad in a brown smoky eye, smudging a black kohl pencil along my lash lines (both upper and lower), and blending the matte chocolate-brown on elevation of that. Then I blended the peach on my brow os and inside the inner corners.
And yous definitely don't need a gold medal in blending (what if that was actually a thing?) to do a lot with this quad, either, because the shadows practically melt on contact with each other. They're that smooth… I'1000 talking smoother than MJ's moonwalk.
It'south worth naught that Tangier's shadows don't final equally long every bit the eyeshadows in my "long-booty" center palettes past Chanel and NARS, which can last 12-14 hours. The shadows in Tangier fade on me around hour vii-8, but it's not a dramatic disappearing act. More like an elegant fade.

Speaking of sexy screen sirens, I watched Lucy last weekend, and while the movie wasn't riveting (turned my encephalon into cheese fondue), Dolce & Gabbana spokeswoman ScarJo looked fab.
Especially her nails. OMG! El Hub nearly jumped out of his seat when I grabbed his arm and whisper-shouted into his ear, "She'due south wearing Dolce & Gabbana Platinum Nail Polish!"
I'chiliad nigh 99.9% sure it was Platinum. I might even bet my cat on it…
